Visit the Chateau Mildura winery, taste varietals from across the region at the Sunraysia Cellar Door, or pop into nearby Trentham Estate for a relaxing lunch by the water.

Mildura is also the home of chef Stefano de Pieri, whose cookbooks and television programs made Mildura's culinary reputation. With a chef's hat from the Good Food Guide 2018, a visit to de the iconic Stefano's is a must.

NAP is regional Victoria's new contemporary art space. Hosting exhibitions by some of Australasia's newest and most exciting artists, NAP is a gallery for tourists, collectors, and art enthusiasts. Located on Deakin Avenue, Mildura's main thoroughfare, nestled between local bars, cafes and opposite the local cinema, it is a must visit location for travellers in Victoria's north-west.
The gallery has partnerships with some of Australia's most exceptional Indigenous art centres and holds a permanent, but regularly curated exhibition of Indigenous Artists from the desert and top end
Chaffey Trail

How did two Canadian brothers end up turning Mildura into the lush agricultural oasis it is today? Find out by following the Chaffey Trail in Mildura.
Visit the Rio Vista museum, a mansion originally built by William Chaffey surrounded by river views and parkland. Take a detour later on to Chateau Mildura, a winery established in 1888 by the entrepreneurial brothers.

Travel up to Mildura early in the year for the Murray River International Music Festival and the Mildura Wentworth Arts Festival and catch some of the creative energy buzzing around this art-loving town.
For the literary types, the Mildura Writers Festival in July is a must. September brings the Mildura Country Music Festival, Australia's biggest showcase of independent country music artists.
Lastly, the Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival in November combines the best of Australian modern and traditional jazz with the opportunity to sample the region's fine wines.
